I felt like I was actually tortured. I’m in the worst pain of my life after a failed root canal from open and affordable dental, the website advertised sedation and I chose this place because i was having a dental emergency. This was an emergency visit in which no sedation could be offered even though they advertised it and it took 8+ injections of numbing which wasn’t placed properly because I was constantly jerking out of my chair from feeling drilling. I was having pain tremors throughout most of my visit to the point where they couldn’t get an X-ray because my head was shaking so bad. I have had a root canal before and it was painless and took about 2 hours. This procedure lasted 4 hours and they said that they were going to stop and try again with a different doctor at a different place. When I told them how much pain I was in they told me to take the same ibuprofen prescription I have been taking for a week that has not worked just at a higher dose. I have no proper sedation and pain management and was sent home from work today from the lack of focus and agony I am experiencing from this procedure. and something is very wrong. It hurts worse now than it did right before the emergency visit. I can’t sleep eat or drink water and now I am heading to an emergency oral surgeon. I have never had such excruciating pain through a procedure and never had such excruciating pain after a procedure to the point where I have to go to the emergency room. Please treat patients pain seriously. It is not normal to be shaking violently from pain through a procedure even though they said people do it all the time. There was nothing normal about this visit and I’m going to have nightmares from this experience
