I chose this dental office because of the positive reviews, but I will not be returning due to multiple issues. 1. Billing practices and lack of transparency: When I was given an estimate, the office based my responsibility on the “allowed” amounts, even though they were aware (and I have this in writing) that my insurance calculates my portion using higher contracted fees. My insurance later confirmed this. Because of this, the estimate I was provided was inaccurate, and I ended up owing more than I was told. Patients deserve clear and accurate cost information up front, and this was not the case here. 2. Quality of work and inconvenience with crown replacement: I had to have a crown replaced, and the process was frustrating. Despite following instructions, the temporary crowns never stayed on for more than two days. The office even had to repeat the prep work because the first permanent crown was made incorrectly, requiring yet another temporary. By the time my third temporary fell off while I was traveling for work(again after 2 days), it was too inconvenient to keep returning just to have another one placed. 3. Painful experience with deep cleaning: I also had a deep cleaning done on half of my mouth. Afterward, I experienced severe jaw pain from the numbing shots and developed painful canker sores, which I have never had before. After researching, I found these can be triggered by trauma in the mouth. To make matters worse, the waiver they require you to sign for the deep cleaning releases them from all liability, essentially shielding them from responsibility if anything goes wrong during the procedure. Between the lack of billing transparency, the quality concerns with my crown, and the painful outcome of my deep cleaning, I cannot recommend this office and will not be returning.
